Week 26: March 27-31 Welcome back! During Spring Break some construction began in the building in anticipation of the MAJOR work that will happen over the summer to install air conditioning. Our classrooms may look different.  We will speak with the students about safety as needed. We teachers have to pack up our classrooms entirely by the last day of school to allow for the work. Even still, we will work hard to maintain a business as usual feel over the remaining 11 weeks of this school year. Academic Update We are working on: Reading R controlled vowels (ir, er, ur, and or in words like bird, word, curd, herd, etc.) Parts of speech Measurement Building reading stamina Developing our social intelligence Preparing for our upcoming animal project
