  Week 8: October 24-28 Academic Updates We are working on: L Blends Constructing and deconstructing numbers Informational writing Recess behavior Learning all about spiders Fact families Ask Your Firstie Who was your favorite character in the Three Billy Goats Gruff? What did you learn about goats? What are some good choices you can make at recess? What are some things you aren’t supposed to do during recess? Behavior With the beginning of the year behind us, we are noticing an increase in behavioral choices that negatively impact the school day.  Please offer reminders to your Firsties to consider how their actions (talking during instruction, rough play, etc.) affect others.
