  • What are some good choices you can make at recess?

  • What are some things you aren’t supposed to do during recess?


Behavior

With the beginning of the year behind us, we are noticing an increase in behavioral choices that negatively impact the school day.  Please offer reminders to your Firsties to consider how their actions (talking during instruction, rough play, etc.) affect others. We find it really helpful when students know that all the adults are working together.

Welcome!

  September 6–9 Welcome! We had so much fun at the Ice Cream Social connecting names and faces! We can’t wait to get to know our students better in the coming days and weeks. At Back to School Night, on September 19, we will have a chance to talk with parents and share all the exciting things about 1st grade.  For questions or concerns, we are available via email (see below).
