 Week 36: May 3 - June 2


Sunscreen and sneakers

Feel free to send in sunscreen for your child to apply.  We hope to be outside a great deal in the coming days.  Be especially mindful on Field Day and Kiwanis Park Day. We strongly suggest sneakers this time of year. Stubbed toes and lots of walking can make other alternatives less than ideal.


Countdown surprises

The children seem to be enjoying this fun wrap up to our great year!


Surprise Tie Dye Day

There has been loads of speculation regarding the accumulating white t-shirts!  Thanks to everyone who sent in a shirt.  If you haven’t had a chance please send one on Monday. If you’ll be helping us out on June 1st, please first report to the office and then proceed to the classrooms for more information.


Field Day

The PTO has been working hard to plan a terrific day for us on June 5, which is our last full day together.


Kiwanis Park Day

First Grade will be taking our trip to Kiwanis on June 6.  Parents are welcome to join us.  We will leave Lincoln around 8:45am, walk to the park, and return by 11:30am. Teachers will provide snacks and water for those who forget their water bottles. We are looking for someone to transport snacks and water from the school to the park in their vehicle.  If you can help please let your child’s teacher know.

Welcome!

  September 6–9 Welcome! We had so much fun at the Ice Cream Social connecting names and faces! We can’t wait to get to know our students better in the coming days and weeks. At Back to School Night, on September 19, we will have a chance to talk with parents and share all the exciting things about 1st grade.  For questions or concerns, we are available via email (see below).
