Students will take the reading portion this Wednesday, May 10.  We will finish with math on Wednesday, May 17.


Kiwanis Park Day

First Grade will be taking our trip to Kiwanis on June 6.  Parents are welcome to join us.  We will leave Lincoln around 8:45am, walk to the park, and return by 11:30am. Teachers will provide snacks and water for those who forget their water bottles. We are looking for someone to transport snacks and water from the school to the park in their vehicle.  If you can help please let your child’s teacher know. 


Family project

Reminder! All projects are due tomorrow!


Upcoming events

Firsties have a lot of events on the horizon!


We will have a countdown to the last day of school beginning with ten days to go. The activities are intended to be a SURPRISE for the classes. Please help us keep the surprise! 


There are two things we’re asking each family to donate: 

  1. $2 for pizza to have on one of the days

  2. A t-shirt that we can tie dye


Please send the money and the shirt to school by May 22nd. 


Volunteers: We will need assistance with the tie dye operation.  This will occur at the start of the day on June 1 on the blacktop.   Week 2: September 12-16 Wow!  What an amazing first week of 1st Grade! Getting to Know You Last week we shared this digital survey.  Thank you to everybody who completed it.  If you haven’t yet, please find a few minutes to answer the questions and submit it.  You have also received paper “get to know you” forms. We apologize for all the questions, especially those that seem redundant. We really appreciate all the information we can gather to help us meet the needs of all our Firsties.
